Supporters of the Obamacare are pointing to a new study by the Gallup polling firm that purports to show the gsuccessh of the law due to a decrease in the number of previously uninsured people. According to the Gallup findings, the percentage of uninsured people gell to 15.9 percent, down from the 18 percent that Gallup reported from the previous year. However, a closer look at these data also reveals that it is a bad news for those people who regularly pay their taxes.

Such a reports was considered a very good news to a number of Obamacare supporters as well as the media because it clearly shows that the Obamacare is intended to benefit most of the people in the United States.

It is true that the Obamacare was created to provide coverage for Americans who did not or could not afford to obtain health insurances in the past. However, what most people often neglect is that it was written to require coverage for all Americans, young and old, poor and wealthy. Architects of the law and the administration were counting on the inclusion of millions of enrollees who would not, essentially cost the government money.

This matters a lot because an increase in the amount of low-income Americans into the system without an offsetting number of high earners means that Obamacare will become a net drain on the treasury, not the break-even proposition that the president and his allies promised when they were just about to implement the Affordable Care Act.

Another concern about the Obamacare is that there are still many uninsured people who are not rushing or even willing to sign up. The reason for such is of course, cost. Obamacare has caused insurance premiums and deductibles to rise because of its minimum coverage requirements. The result of such is that those who must pay full premium prices are having difficulty in doing so which therefore leads to balking at buying plans.
